The External Relations Program was a whole-of-organisation platform that united more than 50 staff across business units, disciplines, languages, and cultures — ensuring consistent, high-quality representation of the organisation throughout Asia-Pacific and beyond. By blending technical and non-technical expertise, the program built strong relationships, shaped impactful experiences, and amplified the organisation’s strategic influence.
Serving over 10,000 members across 56 economies, the organisation relied on this program to deliver a coordinated engagement and policy strategy. It enabled more than 400 staff-led missions and field engagements each year — connecting with governments, regional institutions, industry bodies, and community events — and generating an average of 1,500 meaningful touchpoints annually. Above all, it became a trusted, human interface between the organisation and its diverse communities.
